Pre Décor Walk Through
Saturday, February 23
10 am – 5 pm
The Junior League of Rockford will host a Pre Décor Walk Through on Saturday, February 23 from 10 am – 5 pm at the home slated to become the Designer Showcase Home in the Under One Roof fundraiser event. Come see this historic Rockford mansion, located in the heart of Churchill’s Grove before the area’s top interior designers go to work. The home at 1806 National Avenue will be shown in its present state, with designer boards on display in each room that is to be redecorated. Cost to tour the home is $5. Tickets are available at the door.
Also at the Pre Décor Tour get a sneak peek of the Final Touches Boutique. The boutique is open during the Designer Showcase Home tour and will feature unique items from regional artists. At the Pre Décor tour, a select group of those artists will be on hand selling their wares. From jewelry to purses to specialty food to baby and children novelty items there will be something for everyone!
Premiere Party
Friday, May 2
6 pm – 10 pm
Cost to attend: $50 per person (includes admission to Premiere Party,
appetizers, & home tour). Reservations by April 25, 2008.
Attention Guests! Due to the heavy rain forecasted for Friday, May 2, the Premiere Party is now going to be a Two Part Event!
Please join us at the Designer Showcase Home on 1806 National Avenue anytime between 6:00-7:30pm. Tour the Designer Showcase Home and SHOP, SHOP, SHOP THE BOUTIQUE. When you have seen it all and shopped ‘til you drop’, head on over to CLIFFBREAKERS at 700 West Riverside for cocktails, food and the silent auction after 7:00pm! The event will continue as planned at this new location.

Lisa Frost "Portraits of Mom" Children's Art Class
Ages 5-7
Sunday, May 4
Sessions at 1:00 pm; 2:30 pm; 3:30 pm
Cost: $45 each (includes class for one child and one adult tour ticket)*
Cost for Art Class only: $25 per child
Just in time for Mother's Day! Come and treat yourself to an afternoon at the Designer Showcase Home while your child creates a wonderful 16" X 20" canvas painting and takes a lesson in portraiture with national artist and award winning art teacher, Lisa Frost. Lisa will host classes for children 5-7 years of age.
Three class times are available, but space is limited. Lisa Frost "Mixing with the LETTERS" Children's Art Class
Ages 8-12
Saturday, May 10
Sessions at 11:00 am; 12:30 pm; 1:30 pm
Cost: $45 each (includes class for one child and one adult tour ticket)*
Cost for Art Class only: $25 per child
Children will mix, design and paint beautiful artistic letters on canvases to spell words. National artist and award winning art teacher, Lisa Frost, will teach this lesson of modern Art. Some popular themes include creating names, initials, or words such as the ever-popular T.E.A.M or L.O.V.E. canvases (Letters limited to 4). Your child will not want to miss this amazing class! Lisa will host classes for children 8-12 years of age.

Cost for Historical Tour only: $25 each
Relax on the R.M.T.D. Trolley while learning about the fascinating history of the homes on National Avenue during this guided tour. Afterwards, tour the Designer Showcase Home and shop at the Final Touches Boutique.
