The Junior League of Rockford will hold a Silent Auction during the Designer Showcase Home Premiere Party on Friday, May 2, 2008.
The Silent Auction will feature exciting items
such as an Electrolux stainless steel grill, a Costa Rican
fishing trip, sports tickets, family entertainment
packages, and many more!
During the Premiere Party, you will have the opportunity to bid on the following items:
1. Costa Rican Vacation
 Relax and unwind at Casa Nola in Tamarindo, Costa Rica on the Guanacaste Coast. This vacation has it all! No need to speak Spanish – Tamrindo or “Tama-gringo” caters to US tourists and you can fly directly from Chicago!
Casa Nola is a 3BR/3Ba, 2600+ sq ft house with tastefully decorated living areas, dining area, kitchen, breakfast bar, a t.v. room and a sleeping loft. There is a great deal of outdoor living area including 2 big balconies with comfortable seating; a hillside location provides great country and ocean views so you can enjoy fantastic sunsets. Casa Nola is ideally situated in a quiet neighborhood centrally located in Tamarindo, just 400 meters from the beach where the fishing boats and other aquatic tours depart. The house is 2 blocks from "The Circle," the town's center, and within 1-4 blocks are found a great variety of restaurants, several grocery stores, banks, great shopping, spas, a gym and a yoga center.
 Casa Nola has maid service every other day, including laundry at no additional cost. If you are interested in having a chef provide wonderful Costa Rican style dishes or gourmet feast, for one night or every meal, please let us know and we can arrange it for you for an additional fee. We will be happy to arrange sportfishing, sailing, snorkling, scuba diving, horseback riding, kayak, canopy, and ATV tours, as well as other excursions.
One Day Deep Sea Fishing
Tamarindo’s Nicoya Peninsula's "Gold Coast", offers sport fishermen one of the best locations for deep sea fishing in Costa Rica. The highly active and easy to reach fishing grounds offer great year-round action with wahoo, sailfish, tuna, dorado, marlin, roosterfish, snapper, grouper and more.
 The KINGPIN is a 28 foot Carolina Classic, boasting a Marlin Tower, full enclosure, cabin and lots of shade. Proudly powered by a Twin 4BTA Cummins Turbo Diesel and outfitted with today's most modern navigation, safety, and communication systems, the KINGPIN will get you to and from the fishing grounds quickly and comfortably. Other features of the boat are a full service restroom, full Furuno Electronics, Shimano Tyrnos 30's, Shimano Tiagra 50's and Custom Crowder Stand-up Rods. Our vessel complies with all United States Coast Guard safety standards and is also equipped with cellular phone, life raft, and emergency navigation and communication devices.
USCG Captain Lee Keidel and his professional crew will exhaust every effort to insure that your day is fun, safe and as productive as possible. Lunch is provided on full day charters and beer, water, soft drinks and snacks are provided on all charters. Captain Lee Keidel, a US citizen living and working in Costa Rica, will be your guide.
